Good for top level lesson

Overall I'm happy with this purchase. Very brief read yet to the point with good learning points. Two points that prevented me from giving a 5 star rating:
1. I had an issue with how to acess a comparable program referenced in the read. After emailing tyne author I have yet to get a reply. Overall no big deal I know it's not his problem to tell me an off topic question. Still, a reply would have been nice.
2. This is not an all encompassing learning tool for query. This is a very top level lesson and only touches on the GUI interface. For tyne price I still think it has value.

Excellent Book! Short and sweet! Gives enough information to get you started on your path of data mastery. I have been struggling with ways to create a dashboard with select data from access and I do believe I have found the solution to keep me traveling down the correct path! I will be purchasing the other books in this series. I use the Kindle editions on my iPad that way they are always with me for ready reference.

Solid reference, great price.

Very helpful to demystify the somewhat clunky and dated MS Query application that runs "behind" Excel and really opens up its potential (if you know how to use it). If you're an Excel power user and have a working knowledge of SQL, this book is indispensable.
